Ik vroeg me af of er ook al een foto van de afstandsbediening was en of deze ook werkt als ik de Yuixx in de kast heb staan wat met infrarood vaak een probleem is?
A DVB-S receiver is capable of storing more than 6000 channels, has obviously support for at least DiSeqC 1.0.
– Is the YuiXX equipt with a DVB-S tuner a replacement for e.g. a Dreambox 8000 or an AP IPbox 9900?
– Which DiSeqC support does the YuiXX have?
– Is the YuiXX besides Nagra, Conax & IrDeto able to decode Seca Mediaguard 3 (CanalDigitaal)?
– Is there a list of recommended hard-drives available (5400rpm or 7200rpm, Greenchoice)?

specifications for DVB-S or what decodings like Conax / Irdeto are supported is not public announced yet.
Recommended HDD’s: greenchoice or 5400rpm would be ok enough. But I can imagine that some people think it would be a device act and perform like a PC ..

Miha, the whole GUI is based on Browser Stuff.
Is there a possibility to put in an analog TV-tuner.
I have a DVB-C UPC tuner and UPC is not supported by the Yuixx yet.
So the only way to use the YUIXX as a videorecorder is to attach it the analog way.
Is there going to be a analog tuner extension ?

Nice stuff. Not really cheap though, but i guess prices are gonne drop. Don’t think i’ll buy one if it’s not gonne support DVB-C. And i hope i gets double tuners so you can watch tv and record another program. if that is implemented im gonne buy one for sure :).
Hi Dennis, eigenlijk een simpele vraag. Het enige verschil tussen beide uitvoeringen betreft alleen de aanwezige HD. Of zijn daaraan andere zaken gekoppeld ?

– heeft/krijgt de yuixx geen usenetdownload client ?
– als ik een yuixx zonder hdd en tuner koop, kan ik hierin dan zelf niet een tuner en/of een hdd in stoppen ??
