Why to have a ‘updated’ weblog list if you can use a syndication page using RSS.
The Jeewee (dutch weblog list) is having difficulties last week(s).
Also I’m pinged and maybe it’s better to ping myself (the way weblogs.com is doing).
So why not using: euro.weblogs.com for this?

Because not everybody knows how to ‘ping’ and even if they do, they somehow don’t get it. Besides, not all the log software gives an method to ping…
ping is cool though… now how to check if my server is pinged?
