Hit the image to enlarge: some dudes found it funny and needed the CH3SNAS to be rackmounted. And they succeeded ;_)

Only one CH3SNAS? 5 next to each other would be really nice :D
Below there is a HP Storageworks => These store really a lot of data :D
they have checked: there can be 4 next to each other..
and the ch3snas is used as NFS server to serve ISO’s for VMWARE ..
Nice idea anyway. A friend of mine uses 6 CH3SNAS as Backup in his company (located in three different buildings, syncing by rsync). Not really fast (20MB/s), but fulfills the intended purpose.
Using a ch3snas in the company?
I hope this is a joke.
Oh sorry, he uses punchcards for exchanging data.
@dude … why would a company not use a NAS?
It doesn’t provide monitoring by default, but thanks to fun_plug, we removed this issue ;) Reliability is good enough.
I\’ll submit some pictures soon of my setup: several ch3snas devices, Auto-power-on-gadget (with detailed how-to-modify-your-ch3snas pictures) and temperature logging.
All enclosed in half-height 19\” cabinet with proper cooling and dedicated cisco 3950 switch.
