I’ve put 3 images for you in this weblog entry: the Hits, The Clicks and the Money of AroundMyRoom. The more hits, the more clicks the more money.
Sometimes people are experimenting (adwords) and you earn a lot of money during one day and you have no clue where it was from.

Stats for AroundMyRoom: we do not earn more than 2 or 3 bucks a day.
Why? Too much people do read rss/xml: Clicks on the mainpage are not as much as you would expect. Other Pages? yes, but as average clickratio is lower than 1% you need more hits to make more money.
I call my weblog an average weblog with average number of visitors a day. So are many webloggers earn a lot of money: no ..

One of the major features I like is the PHP webserver addon there is. During normal working hours I cannot put torrents in my ABC as I do work. But with the ABC PHP webserver tool I can do.

You can use my config on my webserver to use it for your own. (the project is discontinued, but is working great)

Geenstijl, het internetfeuilleton, roeren zich de reaguurders omdat Geenstijl nu wel erg commercieel wordt nadat nu de voorpagina header ook als advertentieruimte verkocht wordt/is..
(En daarbij vergelijken ze Geenstijl met FOK, maar of je dat nu als een compliment moet zien?)

Tarief voor de header advert? 20 eurootjes (CPM), zeg maar zo’n 2 cent per getoonde advertentie … En dat kan dan voor de adverteerder aardig in de centen lopen hoe langer de advertentie loopt en hoe meer unieke bezoekers er zijn.

De advertentie tarieven stonden gewoon open en bloot op het internet en daar is natuurlijk een mirror van. M’n 2e mirror kan weg zie ik omdat de Google-Ads nu wel ineens werken.

B.t.w. er is niets mis met adverteren op een site vind ik. Voor de een is het een leuk zakcentje en voor de ander is het gewoon inkomen.
