802.11a+b
Again testing 802.11a+b .. we found out that we had running a ‘wireless cinema set’ which is operating in the same bandwidth. Fun @ the tv screen ;-)
Today’s geek stuff
testing wireless cards 802.11a+b (54Mbps)
First impression: :-(
My First PowerPoint
Today starting to use Powerpoint for the first time ( LOL )
Making a presentation to explain what kind of training I am going to give.
So I’m busy the forthcomming weeks ;-)
Just some stuff
Just found new firmware for my DYNL11APA accesspoint 1.4j1
No idea what’s improved. Trying to find out. It’s not an official release.
Also just received a 802.11a/b dual wireless cardbus card. But how to test at 54Mbps?
I’ve no 802.11a AccessPoint ;-)
Also my home linux server crashed this morning again. I think due to memory problems :-(. Back online tonight.
Internet connection @ home is fine as our webcams (streaming, movable etc.) still do work fine.
Job Offer(s)
Busy with reading application notes from people who apply for a job-offer we have at my department. I’ve to check the resume and make a judgement if the person can be invited for a personal talk yes or no.
Also busy with some tests in the field of networking. Gigabit networking .. ;-)
