VPN, Wireless etc..

Today testing wireless bridging with clients (we used 5 to 6 AccessPoints (he he) :-)
Understanding all the info .. Awesome :-)
Than up to VPN installation and networking. Yup working on our internal test network. Kewl .. Wireless VPN .. everything working. Thanks.. Gives me more knowledge ..

Testing GPRS

Finally my subscription seems to be okay and right now I’m testing a GPRS USB modem at KPN’s mobile network.
It’s working. However: the speed is still disappointing (only 2.8kbytes) maybe it’s not finetuned yet :-). So here I am: me, my simcard and my notebook. No phone, no Irda needed.

Barcelona

I´m in Barcelona right now.
Flight was okay and the hotel is very very new. (opened 1st of july). Just 10 minutes walk from the office.
Now training my collegues here in spain all about ISDN, ADSL, Modems and wireless .. We have fun :-)

Work

Almost demo time here in France/Paris.
Trying to start the internet/network and other stuff but it’s difficult to adapt your settings into a new environment and get it working. I hate working on a live network.

Updated News: home tonight, tomorrow-evening I leave for Barcelona. However not seen any tickets yet. Thursday & Friday: training people about modems, isdn, adsl etc.. than back home Friday-evening.

Arrived

Savely arrived in Paris. Demo up and running. Network and Internet through an Web-Tablet
Okay finished for today. Let’s go to the Moulin Rouge!!!! :-)

GPRS

Sigh…. trying to test a GPRS USB module, seems the SIMM card has NO GRPS ‘Internet EveryWhere’ KPN Mobile subscription. The dude who arranged it only requested something with a 1Mb limit. I do not think that it is a GRPS Internet subscription but a WAP subscription.
