New TV Season has started

HEROES Season 1 (ep 1 & 2)

“Heroes has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere, and we’re even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes,” said NBC TV president Kevin Reilly. “The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation.”

One gray cloud for Heroes: Appliance maker Emerson Electrics is suing NBC for using its product without authorization in a scene from the show’s pilot. The scene depicts teen cheerleader Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet) accidentally sticking her hand into the In-Sink-Erator, only to find the mangled appendage quickly repairing itself.

Emerson wants NBC to stop airing the scene in repeats and in syndication. (Oh oh .. A removed DVD scene later ???)

The TV series season has started. The best series during fall and winter. Yeah. I’ve discovered Heroes, still following LOST en huge fan of BSG .. Anyone any tips?

NAS-BASIC45 LANDISK V2 (v6)

Today released version6 of NAS-BASIC45 where I fixed the status.htm page.

There was an error reported that the DHCP functionality could not be activated.

It’s quick and dirty. Still looking for someone to fix the HTML ;-)

[update: smb.htm was incorrect. Somewhere there was an incorrect html-gui source used by me. Stupid mistake, now tested multiple times and should be ok]

 

Oeps.. wat doe je aan…

Iemand die jou Google Adsense code misbruikt in een pop-up ?

Kreeg vandaag een waarschuwing dat een bepaalde website uitgeschakeld zou zijn omdat de adsense code in een pop-up gestopt zou zijn. Ja leuk maar dat is geen website van mij (meer) .. En ik kan er geen controle op uitoefenen.

Uhm.. Google-Adsense maar gemailed hoe hiermee overweg te gaan. Zoiets is nie kewl.

Update: Marc van Adsense mailde me terug dat er abusievelijk een foutje was gemaakt. Nieuwe eigenaar aangeschreven en ons treft geen blaam. Perfect !

Google Ads – BlogAds, Admatch

3 netwerken voor advertenties. Google Ads werkt. BlogAds vooralsnog niet, maar daar duik ik volgende week in. En of Admatch wat is? Eerst maar zien of ik door de ballotage commissie kom. Webloggen sinds 2001 is toch wel iets … toch?

Google – Getoonde Ads

Het valt dus erg op: afhankelijk van de gebruikte URL worden overeenkomstige ads getoond. Ik heb mijn playground url verwijderd en hoppa, relevante ads worden nu getoond. Ook wanneer je /blog/ in je url hebt staan komen onzinnige ads vaker voor dan nu.

Experiment dus echt geslaagd.
