I have implemented a new kewl feature today. I wanted to have ‘rotating’ images on every day of the hour for every day of the week. Through the #Wordpress IRC channel (press only if you have IRC installed) I heard about the website of Dunstan Orchard. He implemented a rotating panorama header image with xml connection to the weatherforecast.

I want to have an alternative for it. It must be flat (LCD) and be able to do 16:9 but it cannot be much bigger than the TV we have right now (check the image) cause we do not have a lot of space…. Anyone a good idea what kind of LCD TV I can buy? I do not care about names / labels or factories. I only check for quality and price.

Het zal maar zo kunnen gebeuren. Marges zijn laag in de retailmarkt en verbreding van de markt is dan een van de dingen waar je aan kan gaan denken.
Bummer … wil je eens lekker spelen met wat surround dingetjes en dan werkt het dus niet zoals je wilt. Heb je de heerlijke DTS 5.1 DVD van Kraftwerk en die wil je dan afspelen op je met en 5.1 Surround Setje .. Dan speelt ie niet in 5.1 af .. En waarom? Ja dat snap ik ook nie ..
Het schijnt dus dat DTS 5.1 dus weer iets anders te zijn dan Dolby 5.1 en dat heeft waarschijnlijk weer met draadjes, optische uitgangen of weet ik veel waarmee te maken. Eingelijk begint de dag dus met een dikke K
