Scrapedfeeds
Ik heb een hele waslijst met nieuwe feeds op ‘http://www.scrapedfeeds.com’ gezet, deze kunnen in logreaders toegevoegd worden.
Gaarne 1 keer in het uur (maximaal) verversen zodat m’n 2e qube niet ververhit raakt. Moet er een beetje zuinig op zijn nu L:-)
Feeds van mixfans.org/newsfeeds worden automatisch doorgeleid naar scrapedfeeds.com
Momenteel ben ik bezig oude feeds weer te herstellen en online te maken (edoch andere feed url).

JPL’s chaos mix
JPL is een van mijn favoriete remixers op dit moment. Geheel voor eigen fun pakt hij nummers en mixed de ene melodie met de ander. Een remixer die tijd neemt voor de remix als geheel.

‘s kijken hoe het programma gepositioneerd wordt: rock, house, disco?
Ik was de afgelopen afleveringen absoluut niet tevreden met de gebruikte versies en de wijze waarop er door de mixen gepraat werd.
Het concept is absoluut niet nieuw. Jaren geleden was er al ‘Maxis Maximal’ op de duitse radio (NDR-2) op de dinsdag avond.
‘s kijken wat Unico er van bakt en wat ie er allemaal in stopt. Wellicht een plaatsje voor de mixfreaks?

Een aantal japanners is bezig om de ‘Qube Interface’ als opensource beschikbaar te maken voor een normale PC. (sun heeft de source-code pasgeleden publiekelijk gamaakt)

Veronica: the long versions
I just read that Unico Glorie is going to host the Veronica radioshow: the long versions (12″/ Remix etc.. )
Unico, member of the board of Endemol, long time producer of Curry & van Inkel does know what long versions are: during C&vI they broadcasted the Minimix from Ben Liebrand.
Let see if there is some space for ‘The Mixfreaks’ I know that Michiel has forwarded an e-mail from me to him ;-)
20Six.NL: Product Manager Leaves company
20six, office in the building of XS4ALL said goodbye to Claire Klinkert
Who is in charge right now is unknown to me, but service still lacks options like RSS etc. (the german & Uk version of 20six does support RSS)
Strange to see that no-one (except on some blogs at 20six.nl) wrote about this, expecially ie. Webwereld or Planet Multimedia.
What are the real motivations to leave? Business concept not ok for making money? to much competition of web-log.nl ?

PHP 4.3.3. with GD and JPEG support
After hours of testing I succeeded to have PHP 4.3.3. with GD JPEG support enabled at my Cobalt QUBE3
in short: make sure you have installed the JPEG library (JPEG-6B) with: make install-lib
if not: the tools will be installed but the library not. PHP 4.3.3. does need this library to include the GD JPEG support.
To add JPEG support I compiled it with: –with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/bin’
