Yesterday I wrote a message to the google people to reconsider my site as it is in English .. Today I received an e-mail after they visited my site.

it into our AdSense program at this time.

AdSense program. However, if a site contains targeted, text-based content
and/or provide a product or service, we may consider it for participation.

When you submit your application for AdSense, our specialists will review

appropriate for the program.

Damn .. my website is not having targeted, text-based content
Not about syndication, not about RSS. I am laughing my ass off .. In general … my ass.. I’ve seen the just launched typepad weblogs with adsense stuff on it already.

I think I will remove all my categories cause google things it is not targeted, text based content..

Popular Internet Images

I’m scraping a few Yahoo sites with: most e-mailed, most popular, ratings, AFP photos. With these scrapes you get a nice RSS feed.

I was irritated about the scrape(s) cause I did not scrape the description.
From today: the popular internet images do have the description also

If you have a site with ‘popular’ images I can check if I can scrape it for you.

Adam does not want to have e-mail (he wrote long time ago)

So here is my ‘ communication tool ‘

My harddisk with mail crashed last week. I’ve lost all my mail :-(
Okay that’s life.

However I’ve also lost some passwords for FTP.
Adam, could you mail me the username/password I’ve used for the mixes/remixes part? I’ve lost it :-(

Google Adsense

I’ve tried to get ‘Google Adsense’ to my weblog, but they say that my website is primarily or entirely non-english.

WOW.. I know my english is far from perfect, but primarily not in english?
Wat do I miss?
Entering my data I noticed that I could only enter my domain, not the URL of the weblog, the button for the blog is available at the main page.
So I was not able to point to my blog .. When you visit my ‘main’ page you will find a few pages in dutch. telling who I am bla bla bla.. old, outdated….

I would love to see ‘weblogs’ from people with Adsense from ie. Europe to see if it’s not only US based… cause this answer from google is not satisfying.

Why Ads? I need to pay bandwidth .. that’s the only reason.

I agree !! So I think google sucks the way they are commercial.
