C64 DTV Sneak Preview [ Commodore 64 ]
A sneak preview for all the fans of the C= Commodore 64.
This week someone gave me a NTSC version of the C64 DTV and we played some retro games. AWESOME !!!
But I am still wondering what the small red buttons do (next to the reset button). Click the image to see the image bigger.
Enjoy the extra pics. as my sources are okay there will be a limited number of NTSC versions available in Europe. If your TV System is supporting it: you have colour, if not; black/white.

A solution for comments spam?

Display an image with some numbers and force users to manually enter the numbers before allowing them to post.
A solution for me? Maybe, but a lot of hacking in the scripts is needed and will be gone when updating MT again .. So I have to think if I want it.

Today and yesterday evening my site was suffering from severe comment spam again.

Caused all the system loads.
They spammed the comments with about 150 different IP addresses this time. Now I need to shut-down comments and put all IP addresses in the .htaccess file. This file is getting big now.

I searched very long for a tool to make the archive available in my own database.
Yahoo2mbox did not do it’s job I wanted
PG Offline was doing half what I wanted. So I needed to extend this kind of service.
So we did.
I was not happy with the way Yahoo is providing its search functionality to its users
My mailinglist is having more than 56.000 messages starting from the year 1999. Searching this database
will take hours. Now with these scripts: seconds.
