we arrived in Taiwan / Taipei and we are now in the office ! Later this afternoon meeting!

Arrived in Bangkok. We are now in the China Airlines lounge. The airplane will be cleaned and than we are off to Taipei ..

Today I will be flying to Bangkok / Taipei and later this week to Hongkong for a little businesstrip to China ..
No camera with me this time (Stupid, I forgot it) . But I will take a tracker device with me to check if things are working for my holiday trip ;-)
Dovecot & child died with signal 9
Today my POP3 mail was not working. Dovecot did not accept any connection anymore and died with signal 9
Restart dovecot / imap did not work at all. Through the Bluequartz mailinglist I saw a tip that /etc/rc.d/init.d/dbrecover start could work. And it seems that it works again cause my pop3 mail is working again. A tip for others maybe and a good reminder for myself.
Even een Quick update
over 2 weken naar het verre oosten. Mijn vrienden weer opzoeken ;-) daarna het weekend thuis en dan door naar Barcelona naar m’n collega’s .. Vreemd om te besluiten naar China op vakantie te gaan en dan daarvoor nog even een zakenreis ernaar toe plannen … dat zijn weer wat kilometers op de tikker ..
En voor de rest vandaag was het veel lullen over Linux en Licenties .. ;-)

Tuurlijk .. Jeroen van de Geer is voor de uitzending van Dames in de Dop (van simpel blondje naar een dame die iets snapt van etikette) in Dubai even een ‘niet onbemiddelde’ makelaar
Staat ie “gewoon” op de site van de Butler Academy als butler in het Burl Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. Dus dan is of die site heel erg gedateerd of zitten ze de dames / kijker weer eens te ‘naaien’.

- Not longer username than 8 characters: this is due to the tinylogin module which has this restriction. Another login module would solve this issue
