RSS/PHP tool

Matthijs worked on version 1.3 of the RSS/PHP tool
It’s working, but still some problems about memory, timeout stuff.. maybe we are requesting too much the feed(s).

Now I have fo find a way for implementing it nicely in a page .. Mmm ;-)

[update: version 1.4 with more options and functionality available now: 20.01 pm]

RSS Feed Version 1.0

Matthijs has released version 1.0 of his rss feed script (written in PHP).

It’s cool. It’s working on a cobalt. No manuals even not a README.TXT
but hell this rocks .. Finetune, edit, add…. I have lots of ideas. Too much maybe
(But after 4 beers .. Its allowed to have not? :L-)

The sample feed I’ve running here. Please comment

Cleaning

Good morning from our little castle, 4 stairs high, looking against the trees of Palace ” Het Loo ” in Apeldoorn. It’s cold, the car is frozen and the sun is shining.
There will be no pictures available due to lack of a digital camera. (cannot make a decision which one to buy for not to much Euro’s.

Matthijs wrote yesterday a lot of new things in his script. Very cool
I’ve lots of idea’s for implementing this in my website. ;-)
(Matthijs will probably think: Oh oh …… ) ;-)

Oyeah. as we do not have people to clean our house we have to clean the house ourselves ;-) [Parents visiting] ..

YES ! RSS/PHP Tool !!

A good friend of mine can program. We did some projects together. Hosted, maintained VGAPLANETS games, build Tools voor my BillBoardSystem in the Old Days. and a lot of other things. The latest project we did together was building a SMS bulk sender when the SMS could be send for free (like MTNSMS, ICQ etc.. ) (He did the heavy stuff, I did testing, complaining etc .. :-)
Than we did not speak to each other by mail for a few months.

Today I was on his website, noticed a failure. Gave him an e-mail (notice: one e-mail away) and mentioned that I was looking for an RSS/PHP/Perl tool

Funny was that he just started to play with PHP and tonight he showed me a first beta of the RSS feed parser. Real time in PHP

Cooooooooollll !!! Thanks Matthijs!
