Artikeltje in Digitailing ..

afgelopen maand een klein artikeltje gemaakt die geplaatst is in de Digitailing ..

Nadat ik de opzet had gemaakt is het natuurlijk onder redactie geweest en is eea iets anders opgeschreven. Echter kern van het verhaal (grin) is overeind gebleven ..

Artikel gaat over Netwerk en NAS ;-) . M’n werk aan een nieuwe NASjes krijgt eindelijk goede vorm in testsamples en wat al niet meer. Na lange studies, discussies en wat al niet meer krijgt het product echte inhoud ;-)

Kewl New feature WordPress

Adding a link gives a new feature in wordpress (not working in IE8 yet, cause it cannot update / insert the link)

 

I updated my wordpress with a new build but I could not see if it was updated correctly, adding a link today and I discovered the version was actually correct updated ;-)

with above feature you can find previous entries without the need to open a new tab in your browser to seek for that entry.

Twitter Pages

One of the things I really like is the integration of Twitter within my weblog were it is actually stored in my database. I searched for hours for a tool / plugin to embed the twitter tweets into WordPress.

For a very long time I am using ‘Thread Twitter’ an abandoned plugin. I managed to modify the code first to have the non working avatars removed and this weekend I was able to get the plugin working again cause Twitter closed the based authentication a few weeks ago. You need oauth for it.

After searching for new plugins I could not find any serving my need: put my tweets into 1 page and show the thread when someone replies or send me an tweet.

After the non successful search for a new plugin, I found out that the plugin can use an Proxy API. the Proxy API defined is not working with oauth, but thanks to SuperTweet.net I fixed my non working Thread Twitter again.
I am happy again ;-)

TVseizoen.nl & TVserietips.nl

Na een kleine ‘push’ van hardware.info geek David heb ik 2 nieuwe domeinen geregistreerd (tvseizoen.nl & tvserietips.nl). Vaak maak ik op Twitter melding van een nieuwe TV serie die ik volg. Door wat meer informatie op te schrijven en hopend op wat hulp van wat mede auteurs die op deze weblog mee willen schrijven is TVseizoen.nl deze week stilletjes van start gegaan.
