Maybe I’ve to register Radio sometime in the nearby future….
I used to use: aroundtheworld.weblogs.com
& today when reading Marcus’ weblog I thought about the space available @ euro.weblogs.com for me
Oh hell: everyone using radio can use euro.weblogs.com/members if they want.
But it’s almost inaccessible for me those pages [ here & here more ]
Mmm

get it while you can [early update, fast remove?]
[update] the link previous stated here is removed as the content was removed very very fast ..
made a snapshot of the apache-log to rss
I’ve no knowledge of PERL, but with some help of Matthijs I was able to create a script what seems to work
Problems
* output is html or text, but not a ‘xml-rss’ file
* the script does not work each time. (really strange); sometimes it’s only showing a blank screen
* I’ve no idea if the RSS output is valid for RSS 2.0 or 1.0 / 0.92 ..
Maybe someone thinks this is an interesting project?
I see kewl log opportunities.
Anyone an idea why this PERL script does not work at a Cobalt?
I get: malformed header from script. Bad header=BEGIN failed–compilation abor: /usr/cgiwrap/cgiwrap
No Idea what is going wrong.
Thomas is helping, but cannot give a solution yet .. it’s working at his site ..

As an ‘RSS & PING evangelist’ I write a lot about the same subject ;-)
Those things can happen.
I see that Roel is ‘pinging’ euro.weblogs.com now. He is using NUCLEUS.
Maybe it’s an idea for the european weblog developers like NUCLEUS & PIVOT
Only with direct support of the weblog software (ping enabled / implemented)
more and more European webloggers using this software will ping and use EURO.WEBLOGS.COM
* Evhead:
“Amost nobody reads blogs anymore,” says Marc Canter, “Everything comes in through RSS.” Actually, a tiny technical elite reads RSS. Everyone else reads on the web. Maybe that will change. I’m not sure.
* Mike Krus
That tiny technical elite uses a shitload of my bandwidth ;-)
“I don’t aggree though. RSS is out there, it’s being used for many various purposes. New RSS News Readers are poping out. Many of them do a great job at hidding the technicality of RSS…”
