Na een kleine ‘push’ van hardware.info geek David heb ik 2 nieuwe domeinen geregistreerd (tvseizoen.nl & tvserietips.nl). Vaak maak ik op Twitter melding van een nieuwe TV serie die ik volg. Door wat meer informatie op te schrijven en hopend op wat hulp van wat mede auteurs die op deze weblog mee willen schrijven is TVseizoen.nl deze week stilletjes van start gegaan.

For months I am using CloudBerry Explorer for S3 (I have to shame myself not register the software yet)
Thanks to the MKV specification and the usage of a certain part of that specs by the release group IMMERSE many Mediaplayer vendor had to update their devices with a new updated firmware where they follow the spec. When not following and using a TV series release from IMMERSE there was suddenly no sound anymore (and: I noticed that with those MKV’s they already put english subtitles as well).
So after getting a notice, the guys at Conceptronic (I am not part of Conceptronic anymore, so do not blame me when you have an issue) jumped to their developers and after debugging and testing a first release fixing this issue was released today.

Seems that release group IMMERSE is using updated version of MKVmerge causing some mediaplayers not to output the sound correctly anymore. CFULLHDMAi has no update firmware yet. So watch out when watching on TV ;-)
First of all thanks to my readers about answering the questions about the Network Attached Storage. Helpful. Looking at the answers I still have a lot of advanced users as blog reader. The ‘common’ man / woman did not enter any of the questions. So the probably I had to ask the question:

So newsservers: eweka has too less bandwidth towards my new ISP, causing only to give me 1MB/s download where I should be able to reach 3MB/s
Now I switched to XSNEWS but too bad: this weekend they suffer from issues on speed and authentication as well. Terrible !!!!
