Gezocht: een nieuwe uitdaging

Na ongeveer 16 jaar valt dan helaas het doek voor mij binnen de Conceptronic / Dynalink organisatie. Bedrijfseconomische redenen zijn de directe oorzaak dat ik op zoek kan gaan naar een nieuwe uitdaging.

Zo, dat is eruit en even schrikken, ja ook voor mij. Zoiets op je dak krijgen is niet leuk en niet prettig.

Wat heb ik te bieden? Ontzettend veel kennis op het gebied van productontwikkeling, communiceren met het verre oosten en het goed blijven ondersteunen van een product na lancering. Van modem tot mediaspeler van het Linux tot Windows operating systeem en ook software ..

CM3HD – Sneak Preview

So another project kicked-off and finished (soon available in the shop) .. Sneak Preview of the Conceptronic CM3HD. A basic Full HD MediaPlayer with HD (no network) and playback for many video formats. MKV, M2TS, AVI etc. etc. (even PGS) is suppported. Chipset does not support WMV.

Lost, the final 2 episodes

This night, ABC broadcasted LOST the final two Episodes. Simultaneously broadcasted abroad where time was still night. I woke up early to discover Lost was posted to Usenet somewhere around 04.15AM, but experience is that it takes around 3 hours to appear for downloading at my side. Only one usenet indexer was that fast to have it downloaded around 06.30 .. 1 hour later (I download to a NAS and unpack it as well so yes that took 1 hour in total. Meanwhile I was watching the ending of Legend of a Seeker) I could start watching the final two episodes (around 1 hour and 45 minutes without advertisements). Music during the show and ending was terrific. After the break …. a spoiler …

HellaVCR with CH3SNAS / CH3MNAS

Find here my hellavcr configuration I used with the CH3SNAS / CH3MNAS with the nzbget newsbin configuration I created.
the configuration contains mainy, if not all, tv shows I followed or am following (above rar file is with gzdecode function (gzip)

this rar file has all my TV series, posters inside, but lacks all api keys and usernames, it is also allowing you to tweet again. So you have to add the usernames and api information in the config file and var file. I do not recall if I have added my own thetvdb api key, but this one you could pick from your old hellavcr configuration or from the one above ;-). To tweet you have to register the application and enter 4 different new keys (actually the username and password for twitter are NOT your normal username and password !)

Just unpack the rar file in a folder and copy it in the /web/ folder of your nzbget installation so that you can access it with http://nas-device:8000/hellavcr

of course you have to create a crontab or manually execute the hellavcr.php script with: php hellavcr.php
note: hellavcr is depending on nzbmatrix and you need a vip account. Unfortunately the search api is offline so this script will not download any valid nzbfile.

CH3HNAS: Beta firmware 2.3.40

1. Modified text for jumbo frames, was incorrect
2. Add WebGUI Save configuration settings download button, this was unclear
3 Changed behaviour of the NTP server cron.
4. Changed NFS service share folder path, default /home, but also possible /home/Public and /home/Media

Known issues: wierd things happen with FTP, when enabled the GUI jumps to disabled, but server is enabled, also proftd daemon cannot start according to logfile..
Restart will not load correct settings made into GUI (FTP, UPnP)
