Today I spoke with a lot of customers, potential customers. Have been introduced to a lot of people and explained a lot of our products.

Unfortunately I cannot tell with whom I talk, what kind of business etcetera.
cause that’s all under Business NDA ;-)
Today we are going to the Munchener Halle ! That’s german party with a 1 liter glas of beer ;-)

Tomorrow I hope to visit some booth’s .. Did not see much yet.
Tomorrow also the latest day of my stay here in Hannover.
Saturday I travel back.

My first Cebit Pictures.. Using CF cards, USB memory Stick and a lot of systems trying to find a program to alter the JPEG’s ;-)

Today it’s not very busy. We saw the parking lot and it’s almost empty.
I tried to get some pictures here however I’ve some problems retrieving the pictures from the CF card :-( but tomorrow I think I can manage this.

Back at the Cebit. Day 3. Today the exhibition starts. Traffic is a mess. You do not want to be in it. I’m already at the booth. Drinking a cup of coffee and again using the Internet connection (wireless) from PALM.

Cebit is not open yet. However we see press and we improve our booth
Everything is ready. I still use the internet connection of mitac. Nope. I did not ask if I could use it. I call this ‘ Free Internet ‘

Nearby our booth we see Acer. Acer has a very very big booth. This will cost a lot of money. Is that a reason why they will close factories in Holland? 400 people will loose their job.

Okay back to work. Installing some systems, notebooks and maybe a wireless network with WEP encryption ;-)

Found a much faster WiFi Internet connection (here in Hall 2) it seems it is from our neighbours: PALM [G] with SSID: 101
Nope I do not tell you which company I work for :-) try to find out. I will be here till friday. Saturday I will travel back to Holland.

Oeps.. our presentation is having some troubles under Windows XP. Which dude has tested this? Damn I have to change the settings. Now I’m using the default slideshow of Windows XP. Cool feature (but I’m totally no XP freak).

Still using free internet from PALM (company) and I thank them :-)
Wifi rulezz big time.

Nice to know: we have more than 500 liters of beer with us. (Dutch beer).

Testing an USB Wifi device here at the Cebit. It’s really cool to see a site survey and yes of course trying to logon a network with Internet.
Guess what: this message is written at a system wireless connected to a ‘ server ‘ / accesspoint of Mitac. Nope no WEP encryption no security. Plain simple DHCP.

This is really cool !

Yesterday evening we arrived in Hannover Germany. Preparing our booth at the Cebit 2002
Right now I’m testing a ‘ work ‘ pc for connecting our employees through the internet to their mail and other stuff. Working flawlessly within 15 minutes.
Psst (be prepared that you have a dialin account from Germany otherwise it will be very very expensive.
