Decoding

Trying to decode an AVI DIVX stream for a DVD player..
It’s working with a new version of Nero (it seems) but we have to wait for de decoding. Damn that takes time. And the file is only 80Mb big ..

Running Radio

I think Radio is not really the program I want to use.
I cannot get used to it. it does a lot of things I like. I mentioned more than one time; I want webserver enabled tool like Blogger, Moveable Type. Radio is running Local and that’s something I do not like.

2ndly I found that my XML page does not work or cannot be added as ‘ news ‘ page in Radio.

I think radio is simple. Even without explanation I was able to get my radio running at euro.weblogs.com. Yeah that’s kewl. Even without registering the Radio Userland I was able to do this. Another strange thing: Re-install/reconfigure: you loose your usernumber, no matter which RCS you use. maybe I am that stupid that that will happen.

So if moveable type can enter, use, publish rss feeds: Thank I will pay the donation.

Radio is a good cup of coffee but not my taste. Maybe some other people can tell I am wrong. But it’s hard to convince me I tell ya. :-)

Another kewl thing is that you can send e-mails and Radio will publish that e-mail at your weblog. negative: Radio must run.

Channels

They do know they have it but do not use it.
I do, so once an hour, this channel will be updated. If the webpage is updated you can see it here. That’s cool that’s fun. That’s a part of logging. This is just an example. E X A M P L E .. Will be stored in my archive. Cause: Roel and Roel are just Roel and Roel and I do not need them to have in MY channels.

It’s strange to see how this is implemented in my webpage and I have no clue how I should solve this. I am not a HTML Freak. I’m just doing the things I like and try to create a very simple solution for it by just typing my message. And I think that’s the solution.

Dutch Weblog Community

The dutch weblogcommunity is a strange community. That’s what I think.

Do not think global. Think small. The best way to score is to tell everyone that you do not like that webpage or you do not like that piece of text/story due to stupid reasons.

People who think they have made it are sucking deep in their own success till they cannot satisfy themselves anymore. Than they stop and are telling to everyone that weblogging is not satisfying anymore due to the fact that everyone is doing it.

Weblogging is more than only linking and telling about your life.
If you cannot understand this: you do not think globally. You only think about yourself. ‘ Everything for the Hits ‘ ..

Only a few do understand. Only a few do think: I do not care about the hits, it’s my playground, it’s what I want and do. It’s what I want to share.

That’s why I like AC, Jult and some other weblogs: Doing your own thing

fuck the others.

Afterall: Is it and was it the money?
