Aangekomen op de beurs en de stand waar we tezamen met Paceblade en het nieuwe merk Abbrazzio staan/stonden
Gedurende de opbouw is er nog geen catering, maar kun je wel een klein ‘kuch’ pizzaatje krijgen.
Hier zie je m’n gewaardeerde collega PM een Vulcano pizza verorberen. Een zeer ‘hete’ pizza dubbel uitgevoerd .. en klein dat ie was …..
Regarding RDC2882 V49 firmware for LANDISK devices
RDC is writing that it’s a beta test version and they did not ‘publish’ it to the public
The reason for the release is a problem in the SAMBA function in MAC OS 10.5.1 however it seems that in MAC forums people write that there is more or less a bug in 10.5.1
compatibility problem…..so, MAC OS released 10.5.2 version to solve this
It seems that the NAS-BASIC48 firmware is just working fine with the 10.5.2 and that is one of the main reason they did not release NAS-BASIC49
Om 08.30 op de Cebit parkeerplaats. Op zoek naar wat netwerk verbindingsstukjes en uiteindelijk gevonden.
Daarna de gehele stand inrichten met netwerk, wireless en andere demo apparatuur, veel draadjes ;-)
Op dit moment even de mail bijwerken via het draadloos netwerk ..

04.45AM – Wakker worden .. Tijd om naar Hannover te gaan.
05.30 vertrek vanuit Apeldoorn: ik en een collega gaan naar Hannover om ons daar bij al 6 aanwezige collega’s te voegen.
Vandaag is het ‘opbouw’ dag. Ik ga ervoor zorgen dat demo’s en ons locale infrastructuur gaat werken. Dat betekent dus: hopen dat er genoeg netwerk kabel ligt, dat het ook ligt waar we het hebben getekend, dat ons 10Mbit netwerk opgeleverd wordt (glas), en dat we genoeg AccessPoints, switches en webcamera’s hebben draaien om collega’s te kunnen laten werken.
De rest van de demo’s concentreren zich rondom een bepaalde hoek opstelling van de stand, en ook daar gaan we wat met het netwerk doen .. dus hier zal ook e.e.a. aangezet en geconfigureerd moeten worden ..
Drukke dag dus ..
Woensdag avond laat ben ik weer thuis. De Cebit begint voor de bezoeker Dinsdag en eindigt Zondag.
Suddenly I see that my website is very nicely indexed by Google, with some sub-pages .. showing some hot stuff from the site .. No idea how it works, how to change, how to add .. but it looks ok ..
Last Friday a lot of websites (like Engadget) reported about the Conceptronic MediaGiant to be presented during Cebit 2008. Above the first 6 images I made from a sample device. Hit the image to get a bigger one to try to see more details.
